Hummer Sports Park is a six-sport facility located on SW 6th street between SW Oakley
and SW MacVicar streets. It features state-of-the-art facilities for football, track, soccer, baseball, softball and swimming, and ample parking for all venues.

Construction of the $17.5 million Hummer Sports Park was funded through a bond issue approved by voters in April of 2001.

The park is home to a broad range of events throughout the year including KSHSAA championships in swimming, baseball, softball, football and soccer. Hummer has also hosted regional swiiming and AAU track events.

The Topeka Sports Council and the Topeka Convention and Visitors Bureau actively recruit events for Hummer Sports. Future possibilities include national junior college championships and NAIA collegiate championships.

The Topeka economy benefits from the many events hosted at Hummer Sports Park as thousands of competitors and their friends and families visit Topeka to stay at hotels, eat at restaurants, visit shopping centers and other businesses. The added sales tax revenue also helps enhance local services.
